Die wissenschaftliche Zielsetzung unserer Arbeitsgruppe (AG Quintanilla-Fend) ist die Charakterisierung genetischer Veränderungen, die während der malignen Transformation bei hämatologischen Erkrankungen auftreten. Schwerpunkte liegen in der Verwendung von Zelllinien als Modell-Systeme, anhand derer die relevanten Signalwege durch das Ausschalten spezifischer Gene mittels lentiviralen Gentransfers charakterisiert werden. Das Institut verfügt über die modernsten molekularen Techniken, die uns die Möglichkeit zu verschiedensten funktionellen Untersuchungen bieten.

Im Rahmen eines Drittmittelprojekts soll die Rolle der miRNA-Expression in der Tumorgenese anaplastisch großzelliger T-Zell-Lymphome untersucht werden. Ziel des Projekts ist
1) die Identifikation von miRNAs mittels miRNA-Arrays, die durch den in diesen Lymphomen überexprimierten Transkriptionsfaktor C/EBPB reguliert werden.
2) die Analyse der Konsequenzen einer deregulierten miRNA-Expression auf tumorrelevante Signaltransduktionswege.

Wir suchen eine/n engagierte/n Mitarbeiter/in mit abgeschlossenem Studium der Biologie oder Biochemie mit Grundkenntnissen in der Zell-, Immun- und Molekularbiologie, die/der engagiert, zuverlässig und teamorientiert arbeitet.
